How is it August already? We FINALLY received the window! When we uncrated it, we just shook our heads. We were expecting the whole window and frame. It was only the double paned glass. Good news is that we didn’t have to take off the front siding, take out old window, replace. We called a glass guy who had all the tools and he replaced it easy peasy. The window is in! Trim is done! That means…nesting has begun. The rest of the furniture, boxes, and pictures have made their way into this massive tiny house. Hooray!
Greg’s nephew and sons came for a visit on the peninsula. The guys went hiking, we went out on the big boat (HUGE—hasn’t been on the water in two years) and Jonathan helped Greg auger the holes for the sona tubes, place them, and fill with concrete. Greg then began laying the frame for the floor of the front porch. Supports and roof will follow. I’m going out on a limb and saying that looks like we will be done with the house (including the front porch) September 1. Hahahahahahahaha…gotta laugh.
