A nasty summer cold/flu put me in bed for a couple of days. The fellas soldiered on building the floor to our humble abode. Built the trusses. Placed the earthquake straps. Insulated. Plastic and then plywood. There you have a week’s worth of work!
When I wasn’t puny, Grace and I have especially been enjoying our walks. When you’re 24/7 with another in a space 16’ x 14’, you really appreciate time of solitude. The trees are (finally) budding out. The lake we walk around has loons and swans nesting. Grace likes to agitate them and I enjoy listening to the sounds they make in response.
The girls have asked for pictures of me, too. Well, I have to participate in the process more to get caught in the act. Maybe next week! Here are a few pics from this week.
